Clean & dry daily: Wipe wood top with a damp cloth and mild soap; wipe stainless legs with mild detergent and warm water. Always dry wood and metal thoroughly to prevent moisture damage and corrosion.
-
Condition wood regularly: Periodically treat the wood top with a food‑safe oil or butcher block conditioner to maintain moisture balance and prevent cracking or drying.
-
Avoid harsh abrasives: Do not use steel wool, wire brushes, or strong chemical cleaners on wood or stainless surfaces.
-
Protect wood from water: Wipe spills immediately and avoid prolonged standing water to prevent warping or staining of the wood top.
-
Clean stainless with the grain: For stainless legs, use a soft cloth and follow the grain to preserve finish and reduce streaks.
-
Polish stainless occasionally: Apply a non‑abrasive stainless cleaner on legs to maintain shine and resist fingerprints.

Check hardware: Periodically inspect and tighten screws, braces, and adjustable feet for stability.
